Thank you for taking the time to look here.
Going to talk to someone about distressing thoughts and feelings is a daunting experience. I hope my down-to-earth and practical approach will assist in your feeling more comfortable to talk. I try to be as authentic as possible and have many years' experience of relating to people in situations of distress and discomfort.
It's important you feel comfortable and safe with your counsellor, so an initial meeting to decide whether I am the right person for you is the first step, then we can decide together whether counselling is right for you and what to do next.
I
am a qualified counsellor trained in a Gestalt approach, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy and registered with the United Kingom Register of
Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
