Counselling for individuals and couples
Thank you for taking
the time to look here.
Going to talk to someone about distressing thoughts and feelings is a daunting experience. I hope my down-to-earth and practical approach will assist in your feeling more comfortable to talk. I try to be as authentic as possible and have many years’ experience of relating to people in situations of distress and discomfort.
It’s important you feel comfortable and safe with your counsellor, so an initial meeting to decide whether I am the right person for you is the first step, then we can decide together whether counselling is right for you and what to do next.
I am a qualified counsellor trained in a Gestalt approach, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and registered with the United Kingom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
“…Gestalt therapy is holistic, embracing mind, body and spirit. It encourages the individual to feel more complete and to be aware of parts of themselves that have been forgotten or denied, for whatever reason.”
What is Counselling?

People from all walks of life come to counselling, for short or long periods of time and for a variety of reasons, including:
Everyone shares the need to want to effect change in their life and to have more insight into their particular and individual situation.
