Reaching out to talk to someone about distressing thoughts and feelings can be a daunting experience. I hope my down-to-earth and practical approach will help you feel more comfortable to talk. I aim to be as authentic as possible and have many years’ experience of relating to people in situations of distress and discomfort.

It’s important you feel comfortable and safe with your counsellor, so our initial meeting is simply to decide whether I am the right person for you. Then we can decide together whether counselling is right for you and what to do next.

I am a qualified counsellor trained in a Gestalt approach, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

What is Counselling?

Counselling offers a confidential space to explore your feelings with a trained and experienced professional who will listen in a non‑judgmental way. Through this process, many people find that they develop a clearer understanding of their situation and begin to see new possibilities for change.
